No population integration without land integration: NTC

Dimapur, October 15: The Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has reiterated its adopted stand that “when land integration is not possible at the moment, we cannot opt for population integration.”
In a press release, NTC president Toniho Yepthomi and general secretary Nribemo Ngullie stated that as and when Nagas attains sovereignty and integration there will be demographic changes, but till then the State of Nagaland will remain as it is rather than Nagaland ceasing to exist.
Expressing high hope that the years of political negotiations between GoI and Naga negotiators is about to be brought to its logical solution, the NTC appealed to all the negotiators to be magnanimous and bold enough to hammer out positive result without hesitation or delay within the scheduled time.
The NTC further appealed to the Naga negotiators to contain any amount of irritations at the moment for the sake of paving way for solution “and not to be reactionary as such will boomerang.” (Page News Service)
