Kohima, June 1: Nagaland did not report any new positive case of COVID-19 on Monday keeping the tally of active positive cases in the State at 43.
“No positive case of COVID-19 reported in 24 hours,” said Health and Family Welfare, Minister, S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet.
Of the 43 positive persons in the State undergoing treatment at the designated COVID-19 hospitals, 25 are in Dimapur, 13 in Kohima and 5 in Tuensang district.
Today is the first day without any reports of positive cases since detection of first three cases on May 25 in the State.
According to Health and Family Welfare, a total of 2,782 suspected COVID-19 samples have been collected for testing till 3 pm today.
Of the total samples, 1656 samples have tested negative while 43 were positive. Results of 1,083 samples are awaited. (Page News Service)
