Kohima, September 2: The Fountain Club has informed that the Nagaland Spelling Bee Competition 2021 cannot be conducted this year too owing to Covid-19 risk factors.
The Competition, which has been an annual event jointly organized by the Fountain Club and State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has seen 8th Episodes, the last been in 2019 with Morung Express, Crystal Cable as media partners and Ramietect as IT Partners as well.
In 2020, owing to the pandemic situation the event was cancelled, a release issued by Fountain Club president S. Kevi Hibo and general secretary Eyozol Pucho stated.
The Fountain Club informed that when situation improves it shall continue with the competition “as it is evidently beneficial for the students and their future in the process of learning.”
The club urged upon the students to continue learning the words and practice as they would prepare for a competition because excelling in words really does give “the Learning Edge”.
