Dimapur, February 12: The Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) has urged the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) to advertise the remaining 5 unadvertised posts out of 110 posts of Assistant Professor and Librarian under the Higher Education Department.
In a statement, NNQF while acknowledging the NPSC with regard to the Common Educational Service Examination (CESE), sad out of the 110 posts, a total of 105 posts have been advertised till date. As per an RTI, the forum said the reason cited for the 5 posts withheld in the first CESE advertisement, dated 13th November 2019, was mentioned as being under review and examination.
“The NNQF, therefore, request the advertisement of the 5 posts as well in the hope that the reviewing and examination have been completed by now,” it said.
The forum also highlighted that the online mode of registration and application is proving to be a problem to many candidates. Given the timeframe for the CESE application, which is from 5th February to 26th February, 2021, the NNQF said many are apprehensive of being left out due to inability to register or failing to fill the applications on time. It appealed the NPSC to ensure that all candidates applying for the CESE are accommodated despite prevailing technical glitches.
