Dimapur, January 23: The first executive meeting of Nagaland NGO’s Forum (NNF) was held on January 22 at Dimapur, informed a press release on Sunday.
Among other resolutions, it decided to always protect the rights of the NGOs in Nagaland by appealing to the State Government to promote only the “genuine functioning NGOs” in Nagaland.
“The house also discussed that the NNF should work and strive forward in such a way that the Government of Nagaland should give due recognition to this Forum. The Forum should also work out step by step to reach the Tribal Affairs Ministry Delhi for the said purpose”, it added.
