Dimapur, August 6: The NNC/FGN has lauded the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) for its decision to commemorate the 73rd Naga Independence Day on August 14, at Naga Solidarity Park, Kohima, at 11 am by hoisting the Naga national flag.
“This is a just and wise decision to take at this crucial juncture,” said the ministry of Rali Wali, FGN.
The Rali Wali ministry assured to support and supply to NSF the relevant historical documents of the nation including the background and significance of the national flag. It further suggeted the NSF to hoist the “original Naga National flag which was for the first time hoisted on 22nd March, 1956 at Parashen, Rengma Region by proclaiming the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) by our people.”
