NNC/FGN conducts joint meeting

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 18: The top functionaries of NNC/FGN had a joint meeting on February 17 at Toulazouma, Dimapur and resolved that the meeting was in lieu of the 69th Tatar Hoho in view of the global pandemic, which has rendered the situation unfeasible to hold a conventional Tatar Hoho.

The Tatar Hoho may be held as and when the situation improves and the decisions of the 68th Tatar Hoho (2020) shall remain in force till the 69th Tatar Hoho is convened, stated a press release from the group on Thursday.
It resolved to establish the Central Secretariat as per the provision in Article 50 of the Yehzabo of Nagaland. It also decided to recommend Ghuvishe V Zhimomi as Secretary General.
The group decided to reorganize the Western Command of the Naga Army and place Dimapur district under this Command.
It was further decided that all the vacant posts will be filled up at the earliest and elected the following as members of the search committee: Zhopra Vero, Kedallo, as convener and Puthai Lam, Killo Kilonser, Hekhuvi Achumi, Lota Kilonser, as members.
The joint meeting unanimously resolved to support and strengthen the ongoing talks between the GoI and the NNPGs.
