Nagaland News

Dimapur, April 23: The Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has condemned the illegal activities of drug trafficking by one Hassanuddin alias Hasan Mamu, Proprietor of a medical store at Murgi Patty, Dimapur.
The NMDA expressed confidence that the law would take its own course of action.
Meanwhile, the NMDA has directed all the legal Drug License holders, who have not registered themselves as members of the Association to immediately obtain membership within 15 days.
The Association stated that it has time and again apprised the Government that the online Pharmacies are main cause of drug trafficking, illegal drug transportation and anybody can get any psychotropic drugs with false prescriptions from any online Drug Agencies.
The Association appealed to the Government to stop the sales of online medicine business.
It also informed that that Pharmacies maintain register of sale/purchase if they sell any of the psychotropic or controlled drugs, but the online pharmacy has no accountability of their supply which is also a source of drug trafficking.
