NMDA appreciates

Nagaland News

Dimapur, June 7: The Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has appreciated the decision of the Governor of Nagaland to remove all toll gates and illegal collection of money at check gates across the State. It lauded the setting up of control room manned with 24×7 helpline numbers and setting up of inspection teams in all the districts with prominent signage in all the check gates.
“This move has helped us in frequent and fast mobility of essential goods including medicines and life saving drugs across the state,” it said in a release, adding removal of check gates has also resulted in downfall of prices of essential and non-essential commodities in the market.
NMDA further appealed not to re-set up such gates and strictly opposing any kind of illegal collection at gates.
