Dimapur, February 22: Nlumrai from Mpai Village emerged champion after defeating Suiriepeu from Peren at the 26th Wrestling meet-cum-2nd U-16 Wrestling of Zeliang Wrestling Association held at Ngwalwa Village local ground, Peren on February 21.
Meanwhile, Penachi from Mpai Village and Keyigumbe from Ngwalwa Village secured third and fourth positions respectively.
Altogether, 60 wrestlers from four zones (Southern, Northern, Eastern, and Western) vied for the championship title. The prizes were given away by SDO (C) Tsenthungo E Ngullie.
