Dimapur, April 21: Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Sharingain Longkurner took part in a Video Conference today with the Speakers of all the State Legislatures in India. The Conference was hosted by the Speaker of Lok Sabha, Om Birla.
The focus of discussion during the Video Conference was the COVID 19 pandemic affecting the country and the rest of the world. During his intervention, Speaker Longkumer shared with the other Speakers and the Speaker, Lok Sabha the various initiatives taken by the State under the leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, for containing the spread of the virus within the State.
