NLA session to be ‘paperless’

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24: Following the adoption of the National e-Vidhan Apllication (NeVA) by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the ensuing Assembly session from February 26 will be conducted in a paperless environment.
Secretary-in-charge, NLA, Khruohituonuo Rio informed that the 14th NLA will be conducted in a paperless environment (70%) within the legislative proceedings.
The NLA Secretariat informed that it will not be laying hard copies of the List of Business (LoB), Annual Administrative Reports, Questions and Replies to the Questions on the table of the House. The papers will be available for download on the NeVA website and NeVA phone App on the specific dates it is listed for. The paperless transition will also apply to all media houses/personnel, it informed.
