Dimapur, August 1: Nikos Hospital and Research Centre Dimapur will resume all services from August 3 following the unsealing order from the DC Dimapur issued on July 30 and permission to resume services.
In an order, the DC Dimapur has ordered sealing of the hospital’s emergency room and ICU on July 18 and then total lockdown since July 22 after two patients admitted in the ICU tested positive for COVID-19.
“Tracing, isolation and testing of all contacts were carried out following proper protocol under guidance of the health department. Unfortunately, eight of our staffs came positive for Covid-19 by Trunat screening and were shifted to Covid care centre. The Hospital Complex has been thoroughly sanitized by the DMC and all non contact staffs are also in home quarantine since then,” informed Dr Victo A. Wotsa, Managing Director, Nikos Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr Victo informed that all services like OPD, emergency/casualty, in-patient admission, deliveries, operation, vaccination, etc will resume from Monday (August 3). (Page News Service)
