Dimapur, June 4: National Health Mission, Government of Nagaland has served notices to all those employees of the Mission, who have submitted resignation on or after March 23, 2020 to withdraw their applications under humanitarian consideration and resumed services in their respective posting place within 7 days, failing which the resignation letters would be treated as their expressive commitment not to serve the people and the Department at large.
A notification issued by Dr Vizolie Z Suokhrie, Principal Director, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare stated that a summary honourable discharge Certificate would be served in place of resignation acceptance order forfeiting their right to any further employments in future in the NHM/NSACS/NHP, as well as in Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland and Government undertaking units in the near future.
The notification was issued observing that some of the employees of the Mission whose services are much needed by the people and are engaged in the frontline team towards management of the present pandemic Covid-19 in the state were found to have submitted resignation letter from service without genuine reasons.
Accordingly, the Department notified to all concerned employees serving in the Department of Health & Family Welfare including NHM/NSACS/NHP that the present pandemic is unprecedented and the services of Medical Professionals are in high demand, however, in view of shortage of manpower at present, the State Government has solicited the services of retired Medical professionals and many of them have come forward and offered their services voluntarily.
