Says appropriate moment for PM to fulfil assurances
DIMAPUR, JULY 20: The Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation (NGBF) has appreciated the 4-point resolution adopted by the Parliamentary Committee on the Naga Political Issue on July 16.
“This has come at a right time for the people of Nagaland. The resolutions, on behalf of all sixty elected members, representation entire people of Nagaland, is essentially an unmistakable appeal to the GoI to sign the agreement with Naga negotiating groups who formally concluded political talks on 31st October 2019”, it stated in a press release.
Since the elected representatives of Nagaland have officially promised to facilitate and pave way in the event of a political solution, the NGBF stated it is an appropriate moment for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fulfil his assurance to the Naga people.
