Dimapur, April 14: North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Centre for Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies, began its 8-day rural camp at Kidima Vegetable Village April 13.
A press release received here informed that Stephen Gangmei, Assistant Professor of NEISSR, highlighted the purpose for the academic course of studies and importance of learning the profile and village life.
The faculty in-charge of Master of Social Work (MSW) students expressed gratitude to the villagers for accepting the proposal to study in Kidima. Gangmei said initially NEISSR proposed Noklak but diverted to Kidima “for better accessibility from Dimapur”.
Livino S Zhimo, co-convenor of the rural cam,p shared the objectives of the camp like cleanliness, sports, visiting of schools, musical night and cultural programme.
