NEAN defers ‘total cease work’

NEAN defers ‘total cease work’

Dimapur, March 5: The National Health Mission Employees Association (NEAN) has decided to postpone the proposed “total cease work” from March 6 for another 10 days. The decision was taken in an emergency meeting with all the district units held today at Kohima.
The NEAN is demanding release of 3 months salaries.
The NEAN said the proposed stir has been deferred on humanitarian ground considering the corona virus pandemic issue. All NHM health workers are actively involved in screening and prevention activities currently, it said.
However, if the Government still fails to meet the demand/grievance within 10 days, the association warned that it shall take the next course of action, as proposed earlier, without any further information.
