NDPP media committee holds meet

Dimapur, June 3: The NDPP media & communication committee held a meeting using Zoom Cloud Application on Wednesday and discussed various issues related to the present scenario and issues related to COVID-19 and the lockdown period. The meeting was chaired by party secretary general Abu Metha and presentations were made by Merentoshi, spokesperson and convenor of the media & communications committee and Sebastian Zumvu, TL Merry and other leaders.
The house appreciated the tremendous efforts of the PDA Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy CM, Y Patton. It extended appreciation to all the frontline workers and the various Government machineries who are working round the clock in the service of the people.
The house appreciated the various humanitarian activities and charitable works that are being carried out by all wings of the party in a manner that is respectable to the recipients of the donations and also in a manner that is not for the sake of seeking publicity as advised by the party leadership.
The meeting further discussed various issues relating to party activities, media strategies and to initiate road maps for party activities in the coming weeks.
The meeting also resolved to promote similar practices to all levels of the party as it would help keeping all informed about the situations though staying in different locations.
The meeting further resolved to engage different organizations and committees of the party through video conferencing meetings using information technology internet based applications.
