NDA Govt has served the nation with good governance: Tovihoto

Dimapur, June 14: Advisor, Power, Tovihoto Ayemi today said that the NDA Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has served the nation with good governance and provided welfare to the poor.
Addressing the “Seva Sushashan aur Gareeb Kalyan Parv Rally” today, Tovihoto said that just like in a family, the head of the family is always appreciated for doing something good, similarly the people should praise Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its achievements in the last 8 years.
He said that the last 8 years of Modi Government needs to be celebrated, the BJP leader said that the government has focussed on the health sector through its Ayushman Bharat scheme under which 18 crore people have been registered out of which 3.2 crore people have already availed the benefits.
He also called upon the people to avail this scheme, if they are not registered till now.
Tovihoto also said that all the schemes of the Central Government are being implemented in the states and people are getting the benefits.
He requested the state BJP to open a ‘Cell’ to help the people understand the various schemes launched by the central government.
Stating that the BJP has been focussing on the development of Northeast, including Nagaland, the BJP leader disclosed that during April-May, more than 10 Central Ministers have visited Nagaland to assess the various schemes and projects being implemented by the Centre.
Short speeches were delivered by L R Anthony, President, 1 Dimapur I Mandal, Tokuho Suhoi, President, Dimapur District, Hokuto Zhimomi, BJP State Executive Member and Khevishe Achumi, State General Secretary (Admn).
On the occasion, beneficiaries of Ayushman Bhart, Ujwala Scheme and others talked about the benefits they received and how it changed their lives.
Earlier, thousands of BJP supporters gathered at the DDSC Stadium and marched to Burma Camp to commemorate 8 years of BJP Rule at the Centre. (Page News Service)
