NCD urges councilors not to associate with DTAH

Dimapur, July 2: The Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has urged its councilors not to associate with the “self-styled” Dimapur Tribal Apex Hoho (DTAH), as the NCD does not recognize DTAH.
“…the Naga Council Dimapur does not recognize the so called Dimapur Tribal Apex Hoho, which the groundless organization/union/society always destroys the social fabric of our present societies and henceforth peaceful co-existence of community,” it said in a press release issued by its president T Bangerloba and general secretary Thsapongkyu Sangtam.
The NCD also insisted that it remains truly the only Naga apex body of Dimapur District.
Declaring that it abides with its constitution, the council warned any members going against it. It also strongly appealed to all its councilors not to attend the joint meeting convened by DTAH on July 3, at IMC Hall, Dimapur.
NCD AGM on July 4
Meanwhile in supersession of its earlier notification for annual general meeting on March 25 that was postponed due to the nationwide lockdown, the NCD has convened its AGM on July 4, at 11 am, at Naga Council conference hall, Dimapur. All councilors have been requested to attend the meeting.
