NCD, SPFDD condemns


Dimapur, June 5: The Naga Council Dimapur has strongly condemned the killing of three youths in the heart of Dimapur town on June 4, which, it said, again exposes the spate of lawlessness.
In a release, NCD expressed concern that such a serious crime was committed in Dimapur, while also expressing alarm at Dimapur becoming a prime city for criminal minded miscreants from outside the state to carry out their activities.
The NCD asked the district administration and law enforcing agencies to leave no stone unturned in arresting the culprits at the earliest. It also conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
The Sangtam Peoples’ Forum Dimapur District (SPFDD) has condemned the gruesome cold blooded murder of three youths, Tia Sagtam S/o Tangthsenjü of Kiphrie District, Tatewtui Newme s/o Agie of Peren district and Hori Teron, a Karbi on June 4 at Golaghat road, Dimapur.
While appreciating the government machinery for promptly acting on the case and also constituting a special investigating team headed by Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) to probe and investigate the crime, the SPFDD appealed to the law enforcing agency to not let any stone unturned to arrest the absconding perpetrators and award the criminals a befitting punishment as per the law.
The Forum also called upon the people not to take law in its own hand and let the authorities concern arrest the murderers and deliver justice to the victims at the earliest.(Page News Service)
