Dimapur, June 2: Coinciding with the World Environment Day, the Nagaland Community Conserved Areas Forum (NCCAF) will be organizing collection of wild vegetables from their conserved areas and orchards, for the Quarantine Centres and the Frontline Workers on June 5.
Secretary, NCCAF, Heirang Lungalang said this venture is undertaken to share the blessings of the conserved areas and orchards with the people who are quarantined and also to show solidarity with the frontline workers who are selflessly fighting the pandemic throughout the State during these uncertain times.
The NCCAF, with a membership of almost 30 CCAs spread across the State, would celebrate the Day with the rest of the world in remembering how mother Nature provides our many needs.
The program is co-sponsored by the Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED). (Page News Service)
