NBSE to introduce Vocational Education

Dimapur, August 7: Nagaland Board of School Education will introduce Vocational Education for Class 11 and 12, from 2022 academic session in phases, i.e. to begin with Class IX.
Vocational Education will be an optional subject in Class 9 and 10, and an elective subject in Class 11 and 12, it informed.
The Competency Based Curriculum and Syllabus for Vocational Education for Class 11 and 12 has been adopted from the curriculum and syllabus developed by the Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Bhopal.
In this regard, registered schools have been encouraged to introduce the subject in their schools to nurture the skill requirements of the learners. The application form for the introduction of Vocational Education has been uploaded at www.nbsenl.edu.in, it informed. (Page News Service)
