NBSE notifies on planned activities


Dimapur, August 28: Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified that in celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence -Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the following activities have been planned by the Board to be conducted by the schools from September 2021 to November 2021. All the Activities listed below are meant for both Government and Private Schools.

Activity ‘A’ – Classes VIII to XII: September 1 to 25
Essay/Poem writing/Drawing competition on the theme “People who gave us the 75th year of India’s Independence.”
Submission of best 1(one entry) by the schools-September 27-28
Activity ‘B’ – Classes X to XII: October 1 to 25
Reading Comprehension Challenge. In this activity, schools may conduct writing activities in about 300 words on topics which are related to the Indian Freedom struggle. Topics may include the participation of North East India in the Indian Freedom Movement.
Submission of best 1(one entry) by the schools-October 26-27.
Activity ‘C’ – Class XII: November 1 to 25.
Essay/Poem writing/Drawing competition on the students view on the vision about India the year 2047.
Submission of best 1(one entry) by the schools-November 26-27
A Certificate of Merit will be given to the best three (3) entries in each Activity for each District. After the conduct of the activities, the schools are to screen the entries submitted by the students and mail only the best 1(one) entry in Word format from each school to Schools must write the name of the student, Class and School clearly as any incomplete entry will be rejected.

All the Heads of Registered Institutions have been requested to take up the activities with the students from Class VIII to XII as per their category. Students should be encouraged to actively participate.
