Dimapur, November 20: Nagaland Board of School Education informed that the Union Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, has directed State Boards to celebrate November 26 as Samvidan Diwas (Constitution Day) to commemorate the day of adoption of the Constitution, as a part of ‘Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav’.

President of India will be leading the celebration of Constitution Day, live from Central Hall of Parliament on November 26 from 11 am. The programme will be live streamed through Sansad TV/DD/Other TV channels and online portals.
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs will be setting up the following two portals so that school children can participate in these celebrations: portal for reading Preamble to the Constitution in 23 languages, i.e., 22 official languages and English. Therefore, all Heads of Institutions have been requested to take note and take necessary action. Webinars/any other activity befitting the occasion may also be organised on the day while keeping COVID protocols in mind.(Page News Service )
