NBSE announces HSSLC, HSLC exam details

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24: Chairman NBSE, Asano Sekhose has informed that the HSSLC Examination 2022 would be held from March 8 till 31 and HSLC Examination 2022 from March 9 to 22
In HSSLC Examination, a total of 17117 candidates are enrolled (Arts: 13811, Commerce: 1157 and Science: 2149) and will be appearing in 88 provisional examination centres.
Out of 17117 candidates, 7860 are boys and 9257 are girls.
The Class XI Promotion Examination 2021 would also be held from April 1 to 23.
30327 candidates will be appearing the HSLC Examination 2022 in 35 provisional examination centres and 4 sub centres. 1391 candidates will also be appearing the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2022 in 35 examination centres.
It may be noted that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more additional examination centres have been created in the districts and Sub-Divisions in order to maintain social distancing in the examination centres.
On February 23, the Board had an online meeting with all Centre Superintendents where their duties and responsible were discussed in detail. They were also briefed about the preventive measures/SOPs to be followed during the conduct of the examination to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The Board would also deliver the materials to the examination centres to disinfect the rooms, washrooms, halls, etc.
Candidates are required to bring their Original admit cards to the examination hall/room on all the days of the examination. Candidates have also been requested to read the question paper carefully before they start to write the answers. Answers to the questions should be written keeping in mind the marks allotted to it.
Students have been reminded to refrain from any kind of mal-practices during examinations. Candidates are advised to reach the examination centres on time by moving out from home early.
The Board further appealed to all candidates to wear masks, observe social distancing norms, avoid contact with unknown persons, etc., to protect themselves. It also appealed to parents and guardians to guide their ward on the important guidelines/SOPs and to follow them.
With the examinations around the corner, the Nagaland Board of School Education conveyed its best wishes to all the candidates appearing for the examinations.
