Dimapur, March 29: Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj (NBS) today provided relief to around 50 people stranded at Dimapur and stationed at Sports Hostel at the State Stadium. The Samaj provided meals, tea and snacks etc to the people.
The NBS thanked its members, donors, administration and well wishers, who have risen to the occasion to ward off this emergency. It also looked forward to continued support from all quarters so that the needy may be helped to survive their period of trial and tribulations.
The NBS also extended gratitude to DC Dimapur and Dimapur Police for all possible help.
Meanwhile, the NBS stressed on proper hygiene and importance of social distancing in order to fight the COVID-19 and appealed to everyone to stay home and be safe.
Hindu Sema Samiti today distributed rice and potatoes to 220 families who are suffering due to lockdown in Dimapur.
The Samiti members distributed the relief items in Chatteshwary Durgabari. The families belonged to K Kire Colony, Master Colony, D Colony, Sematilla Colony, Xuvihe Colony, Chatteswary Colony, Manipuri Basti, Keviza colony, SP colony and Kerai Colony. (Page News Service)
