NBS, HSS extend Chhath Puja greetings

Dimapur, October 29: Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj (NBS) has also extended warm greetings to the people celebrating the Chhath Puja in Nagaland.
In a message, NBS president, Pramod Singh stated that the festival is observed with strict fast by the devotees, who pay obeisance to the Sun God and also his sister Chhathi Maiya on the banks of river and any water sources.
As thousands of people from the Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and other parts of the country residing in Nagaland celebrate this festival, the Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj wished that this festival mark the beginning of life, fortune and success for everyone.
HSS Dimapur: Hindu Seva Samiti Dimapur has extended greetings on the occasion of Chhath Puja, which is celebrated by majority of people from the Bihari community.
President, Hindu Seva Samiti & Vice President, Nagaland Bihari Samaj said in order to follow the old age tradition of the Bihari people, which ask blessing for the welfare of the family and community, this festival has been celebrated with full grand, fun fair and dedication to preserve the age old traditions of the community to follow the ancestral way of life.
He also highlighted the significance of the four-day festival
Minority Morcha BJP: Minority Morcha BJP has extended Chath Puja greetings to all the devotees of Godess Chathi Maiya.
Deep Kumar, President, Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland State wished that Chhathi Maiya be always there to bless everyone and God Sun is always there to guide everyone towards a happier life.
NPF Minority Wing: On the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja, the President of Minority Wing, Naga Peoples Front Central, on behalf of the party, extended heartiest greetings and best wishes to the Bihari & Bhojpuri citizens of Nagaland.
The NPF Minority Wing wished that the Sun God shower blessings upon each person and strengthen peace, brotherhood and harmony amongst all.
