Dimapur, February 14: Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan (All India Bengali Literary Conference), Dimapur Branch on February 12 nominated a new committee.
A press release stated that Monoj Bhattacharjee was elected as the President of the newly formed committee.
Nikhil Bharat Banga Shitya Sammelan was established in the year 1923 at Banaras under the President ship of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and renowned Poet & Lyricist Atul Prasad Sen and many others Bengalis stalwarts, it stated. The organization has more than 120 branches with 12000 members all over India.
