National Youth Day observed at Longleng

National Youth day

Dimapur, January 13: The International Human Rights Council Nagaland State in collaboration with IHRC Tuensang and Longleng observed National Youth Day on the theme “Slogan of Yuwa Divas” on January 12 at Anghya Restro, Longleng.


Speaking at the event, the Guest Speaker, B Yemlong Chaba, Vice/Secretary IHRC, Nagaland State highlighted that a youth must grow inside out as there is no soul that will have to put you together but oneself.
Chaba stated that Youth Day is celebrated every year in India to guide and motivate the youth of our country. He added that the right path and the right motives lead to the achievement and success of national development.
He also said that every year the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organizes National Youth Festival to celebrate the birth of Swami Vivekananda with the collaboration of Government of India which focuses on assimilation, harmony and peace.
Chaba also highlighted on the life of Swami Vivekananda and his message of life by drawing inspiration for the people present in the gathering.
President IHRC Tuensang, B.M Yanchuin his short speech stated that International Human Rights are the pillars to uphold Human Rights and Rights should be protected by every individual. He also focused on the contribution of a Youth in a society.
It was also decided that the Longleng Youth will focus on the development activities of the Youth and society as a whole.
