Kohima, May 22: In more than three months of fight against novel Corona virus, Nagaland today conducted the first home test of suspected COVID-19 samples at the just inaugurated Bio-Safety Level (BSL) – 3 Laboratory at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima.
On the first day, a total of three samples collected from Kohima were tested, while results have been sent to the Surveillance Cell at the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare to be officially announced on Saturday, official sources said.
Sources also said that more suspected COVID-19 samples were received by late afternoon while additional samples were expected by midnight. All the testing will be done tomorrow morning and results are expected to be out by afternoon, sources added. (Page News Service)
