Nagaland News

Dimapur, April 22: In view of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Nagaland Government has reactivated the State Level War Room on COVID-19 with Chief Secretary J Alam as Chairman.

He will be assisted by 6 core committee members comprising the State’s top officials, and a team of 15 officers from key line departments, according to a government notification issued on Thursday.
“The State Level War Room will ensure unity of command and control in the fight against COVID-19 in the State. It will further ensure sharing of all the relevant information on real-time basis so that prompt and effective action gets taken by the departments/officials/agencies concerned for preventing the spread of COVID-19, as well as for making interventions, whenever required, for strengthening the health infrastructure and the clinical management of the COVID-19 patients,” it stated.
It will function from the conference hall of Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), and the required logistical support for it will be made available by the office of NSDMA. (Page News Service)
