Dimapur, October 25: Nagaland State received the ‘Best Horticulture State’ during the 11th Global Agriculture Summit 2018 held at Hotel Hyatt Regency New Delhi in the theme “Connecting Farmers with Markets and Technologies”. The summit was held on October 24-25.
On behalf of State Government, Mhathung Yanthan, MLA, Advisor for Horticulture along with Principal Secretary MK Mero, Horticulture Director Dr Elithung Lotha, Deputy Resident Commissioner Kethosituo Sekhose, OSD Planning Thomas Thailu and Kuolie Mere PRO(IPR) received the best Horticulture State Award from Union Minister Rajnath Singh. The summit was organized by Indian Council of Food and Agriculture.
