Dimapur, April 13: Nagaland is ready to set up the COVID-19 Bio-safety Laboratory, BSL level 3 at Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima, NHAK and BSL level 2 at Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research, CIHSR, Dimapur.
Informing this, Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Kesonyu Yhome said the first consignment of materials required for the BSL lab will be arriving in the state tomorrow.
Yhome said along with the first consignments, technicians will be coming where work will begin in full swing.
He said five medical personnel from the State have completed training at Indian Medical Research Centre, Dibrugarh on the functioning of the labs and they would return tomorrow. (Page News Service)
