Dimapur, April 28: The Nagaland Prayer Convention was held at Khuochiezie on the theme ‘They that sow in tears shall reap in joy’ psalms 126:5. The three-day program was hosted by NCRC PR Hill Kohima Nagaland (Nagaland Prayer Centre) through spontaneous contributions. Nagas from every tribe came and prayed for Naga people as a whole. Representatives from National worker groups working for the cause of Nagas came together and prayed for peace , oneness and tranquillity in Nagaland.
The convention culminated on Sunday evening with Rev Dr. Batkupar Dunai , New Generation Outreach Revival Assembly, Shillong as speaker.
Braving the sudden torrents of rain, the congregations were blessed with a spontaneous worship of prophetic move of God’s touch of healing, breakthrough and baptism of the Holy Spirit. On a lighter note, the speaker, Dunai said he will preach in the next convention. He ended the prophetic movement by engaging the people in true worship of praise and songs.
The service was led by Atou Thapo, opening hymn cantored by Keteleno Beio and accompanied by pianist Diethozolie Pienyü. The invocation was pronounced by Rev. Razouvizo Tetseo, Evangelist-at-large, NCRC. Chorale presentation was done by Chesezu CRC choir, Khezhakeno CRC choir and Gariphema NCRC choir.
Earlier in the morning service , Rev. Zotuo kiewhuo, Senior pastor Koinonia Baptist Church was the speaker. He also ministered healing and deliverance prayers to the congregations who responded to the altar call on the second night.
