Dimapur, June 5: Nagaland Police concluded the Plantation Drive on June 5, World Environment Day in Dimapur. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio graced the occasion and planted a sapling in the New DC Complex at Chumukedima.
Along with the DGP Nagaland, Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, DIG (Trg) & Camp Commander Chumukedima and a host of Senior Police Officers planted Saplings.
DGP Nagaland presented a Photo Album to the Chief Minister on the Statewide Plantation Drive carried out by 15 Armed Battalions, 12 District Executive Forces, 2 Training Institutes and other Establishments/Units of Nagaland Police.
The Plantation Drive on the theme “Ecosystem Restoration” was conducted to spread awareness on environmental responsibility and to restore the ecosystem, specially during the Covid-19 Pandemic. (Page News Service)
