HSLC, HSSLC examinations to continue
Dimapur, April 19: In view of the steep rise in Covid-19 cases in the country, and the urgent need for taking measures for preventing the spread of Covid-19 in the state, Nagaland Chief Secretary has orders the closure of all the schools in the state, including the residential schools, for students of Class 1 to Class 8 with immediate effect till further orders.
In an order issued today, Chief Secretary, J Alam, IAS stated that kindergarten/pre-primary classes in all the schools in the state would also continued to remain closed.
The Chief Secretary stated that schools may continue imparting teaching through online mode for all the classes and carrying out other activities with strict adherence to Covid-19 appropriate behavior and other necessary measures as they were doing before they opened for regular/physical classes.
The conduct of regular classes for students of Class 9 to Class 12 would continue for now, subject to strict adherence to all provisions of the SOP issued on February 1 last.
The ongoing HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2021 would continue with strict observance of all the provisions of the SOP for adherence to all provisions of the SOP issued on February 1 last. (Page News Service)
