Dimapur, April 17: The Nagaland Optometric Association has informed that the Nagaland Optometric Association (NOA) is the State representative of the optometrists’ community “in and around the State”, the DIPR reported on Saturday.
It stated that the association was formed in 2018 and got registered with the Government of Nagaland on March 25, 2021 with registration no. HOME/SRC-7484.
The association has informed every optometry graduates from Nagaland to register with both the State and Central Council (Optometry Council of India), it stated.
Any optometrist from outside the State practicing in Nagaland have been requested to register with the State Association as per the directive of the Allied and Healthcare Professionals Bill 2021.
