Nagaland observes “Cheer4India” Tokyo Olympic 2020

Kohima, July 20 : The department of youth resources & sports, Nagaland today joined the rest of the nation in observing “Cheer4India” programme for Indian contingent for Tokyo Olympic 2020.

Addressing the function here at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Nagaland’s youth resources & sports advisor Er. Zale Neikha said that though the state could not send athletes for Tokyo Olympic yet remained hopeful that with Khelo India State Centre for Excellence (KISCE) functional in Kohima, Olympians will be produced in future.
Olympian Chekrovolu Swuro also delivered a short speech and extended best wishes to Indian contingent.
Nagaland’s youth resources & sports director Akumla Chuba chaired the function.
