Nagaland House at Mumbai  to be operational soon

Dimapur, August 9: Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton on Wednesday said that the Nagaland House at Navi Mumbai will be made operational soon.
The construction of Nagaland House at Navi Mumbai was completed in 2010 but it could not be made functional till date due failure of the State Government to obtain CRZ (Coastal Regulation Zone) permission from the Navi Mumbai Corporation prior to the commencement of the construction. The occupancy certificate for the completed project was also not issued.
After visiting the Nagaland House at Navi Mumbai on Wednesday along with Advisor, F&CS, Pukhayi Sumi, Patton said with the concerted efforts of the State Government under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio, the CRZ issue is under process, and informed that the State Government was pressing hard to sort out at the earliest with its counterpart government and the house will be made operational very soon, said a release issued by the Dy. CM media cell.
Patton informed that once the Nagaland House is made functional, it will facilitate the people of Nagaland and bridge the gap between Mumbai and Nagaland. He assured that the Government will give preferences to students’ community, sick and needy people and businessmen one the house is made functional. (Page News Service)
