Nagaland Covid tally rises to 4375


Dimapur, September 9: Nagaland today saw a hike in the detection of Covid positive cases as compared to the past few days when the numbers were low. Today 130 Covid positive cases were detected taking the state’s tally to 4375. Out of 130 positive cases, 64 are at Kohima, 63 at Dimapur, 2 at Mon and one at Mokokchung.
Out of the 4,375 positive cases, the total active cases presently are 578. As per the severity of symptoms, 566 active cases are asymptomatic, 9 active cases are mild and 3 active cases are moderate.
Further, out of the 4,375 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 1,893 cases from Armed Forces, 1,321 cases from Returnees, 311 cases of Frontline Workers and 850 cases of Traced Contacts.
A total of 864 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine. (Page News Service)
