Nagaland COVID caseload reaches 12,101; 55 active cases


DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 2: Out of 135 samples tested on Tuesday, 2 returned positive for COVID-19 as the caseload in Nagaland reached 12,101.
Health Minister S Pangnyu informed that both the cases were from Dimapur. The State recorded no recoveries and the number of active cases rose to 55.
According to Health Department data, 46 out of the 55 active cases were asymptomatic while there were 7 mild cases and 2 moderate cases on oxygen.
So far, Nagaland has recorded 88 COVID fatalities, out of which 10 have been declared ‘not COVID-related’. (Page News Service)
