Nagaland COVID caseload reaches 12070


DIMAPUR, JANUARY 21: Three fresh COVID-19 cases on Thursday pushed Nagaland’s caseload to 12070.
Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that all the three cases were from Dimapur.
Also, the number of recoveries in Nagaland climbed to 11,733 after it recorded two more recoveries on Thursday.
Phom informed that there are 107 active cases currently.
According to the Health department’s data, 88 persons in the State have died from the virus, out of which 78 were due to the contagion and the remaining 10 had co-morbid conditions.
Out of the active cases, 89 are asymptomatic, 8 moderate cases on oxygen, 5 severe cases on oxygen and 5 mild cases.
As per the segregation of cases, 4976 (41%) are traced contacts, 4666 (39%) armed forces/security personnel, 1856 (15%) returnees/travellers, and 572 (5%) frontline workers.
