Nagaland COVID-19 tally rises to 9536; 4 more deaths reported


Dimapur, November 10: Nagaland on Tuesday reported 33 new cases of COVID-19 taking the State’s tally to 9536. But with 8505 recoveries and 44 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 886.
Out of the 33 new cases, 18 were detected in Dimapur, 9 in Kohima, 4 in Mon and one each in Mokokchung & Peren.
Nagaland also reported 4 more deaths on Tuesday taking the COVID-19 death toll in the State to 44.
As per the severity of symptoms, 828 active cases are asymptomatic, 33 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 2 active cases are critical without oxygen and 3 active cases are on ventilator.
Further, out of 9,536 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people is: Armed Forces/Police – 4082, Traced Contacts – 3306, Returnees – 1681 and Frontline Workers – 467.
