Nagaland COVID-19 tally rises to 9503

Dimapur, November 9: Nagaland on Monday reported 29 new cases of COVID-19 taking the State’s tally to 9503. But with 8423 recoveries and 40 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 941.
Out of the 29 new cases, 14 were detected in Kohima, 13 in Dimapur and one each in Peren & Tuensang.
As per the severity of symptoms 887 active cases are asymptomatic, 29 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 1 active case is critical without oxygen and 4 active cases are on ventilator.
Further, out of 9503 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people is: Armed Forces/Police – 4082, Traced Contacts – 3281, Returnees – 1676 and Frontline Workers – 464.
