Nagaland COVID-19 tally rises to 7816

Dimapur, October 18: Nagaland on Sunday reported 118 new COVID-19 positive cases taking the State’s tally to 7816. But with 6141 recoveries and 28 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 1582.
Of the 118 new cases, 93 were detected in Dimapur, 13 in Kohima, 9 in Mon and 3 in Peren.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1522 active cases are asymptomatic, 41 active cases are mild, 11 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 5 active cases are severe on oxygen, 2 active cases are critical with oxygen and 1 active case is on ventilator.
Further, out of 7816 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people is: Armed Forces/Police – 3477, Traced Contacts – 2353, Returnees – 1601 and Frontline Workers – 385.
