Nagaland Covid-19 tally rises to 5862


Dimapur, September 26: Nagaland today reported 94 Covid-19 positive cases, besides 89 recoveries of Covid-19 patients.
With the 94 new positive cases, the state’s tally of positive cases has risen to 5862. Out of the 5862 cases, 1027 are active cases and 4782 have recovered. The state has recorded 16 deaths so far, while 37 people have migrated.
“Out of 574 results received 94 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 51 in Kohima, 39 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung & 1 each in Mon and Phek,” Minister for Health & Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom tweeted.
He also mentioned that the state has reported 89 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, in which 65 are from Dimapur & 24 from Kohima.
Of the 94 positive cases detected today, 21 are from Armed Forces, 7 from returnees, and 66 from traced contacts. (Page News Service)
