Dimapur, September 4: Forty one Covid-19 positive cases was detected today in Nagaland taking the total to 4107. Of the 41 cases, 23 are in Dimapur, 17 in Kohima and one in Phek.
Out of 4017 positive cases detected so far, the recoveries till now are 3351. The active cases are 736 and there have been 8 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 730 active cases are asymptomatic and 6 active cases are mild.
Further, out of the 4,107 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 1,740 cases are from Armed Forces, 1,289 cases from Returnees, 302 cases of Frontline Workers and 776 cases of Traced Contacts.
The results of 39,453 samples have been received through RT-PCR tests. On Truenat, the results of 23, 785 samples have been received. In addition through Rapid Antigen Test, 854 samples have been tested.
A total of 948 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine, an official bulletin said. (Page News Service)
