Nagaland COVID-19 tally jumps to 774

Kohima, July 12: Nagaland on Sunday detected 26 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total tally in the State to 774. But with 327 recoveries, the total active cases in the State are 447.
Of the 26 new cases today, 18 were detected from Dimapur, 4 in Phek, 3 in Tuensang and one in Kohima. Another 14 COVID-19 patients also recovered – 8 in Phek, 5 in Peren and 1 in Kohima – on Sunday, and all of them will be kept under strict surveillance.
Out of the 447 active cases, 443 are asymptomatic and 4 active cases are mild. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres.
A total of 3,354 persons are presently under facility quarantine in Nagaland.
The recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in Nagaland is 42.24%.
The district wise confirmed cases are as follows: Dimapur – 258, Peren – 216, Kohima – 154, Mon – 76, Tuensang – 44, Phek – 17, Zunheboto – 4, Mokokchung – 4 and Wokha – 1.
Among the active cases, Peren has 134, Dimapur – 101, Kohima – 94, Mon – 76, Tuensang – 28, Phek – 8, Mokokchung – 4, Zunheboto & Wokha – one each while the 327 recovered persons are 158 from Dimapur, Peren – 81, Kohima – 60, Tuensang – 16, Zunheboto – 3 and Phek – 9.
