Nagaland COVID-19 tally jumps to 10608; 2 more deaths reported

Dimapur, November 20: Nagaland on Friday reported 148 new cases of COVID-19 taking the State’s tally to 10608. The death toll has also jumped to 60 with the report of two more deaths, one each in Kohima and Dimapur districts during the day.
With 9104 recoveries and 60 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 1340.
Out of the 148 new cases, 138 were detected in Dimapur, 8 in Kohima and one each in Mon & Tuensang.
Nagaland also recorded 97 recoveries on Friday, out of which 79 were in Dimapur, 8 in Kohima, 6 in Mon and 4 in Mokokchung.
As per the severity of symptoms among the active cases, 1297 are asymptomatic and 43 are symptomatic.
Of the total 10608 cases, 4411 are Armed Forces/Police, Traced Contacts – 3944, Returnees/travelers – 1751 and Frontline Workers – 502. (Page News Service)
